What started as marketing and distribution, eventually ended up with production of cigars under the Dunhill brand name. In 1982, Dunhill reached an agreement with Cubatabaco of Cuba for producing the cigars, which were marketed successfully in Dunhill stores across 30 countries.
Up to 1991, Dunhill cigars were made by Cubatabaco and afterwards they parted ways. It was difficult for Dunhill to find a new manufacturer and eventually British American Tobacco bought the Dunhill brand name.
Dunhill Range
Dunhill has two main series of cigars, the Dunhill Signed Range, which are strong, and the mild range of Blue Label (Dunhill Aged). The brand has not been quite active for a while, but the introduction of 1907 by Dunhill, which is going to satisfy smokers looking for medium strength, has sparked quite a bit of interest. 1907 by Dunhill is available in four sizes -
Toro - 6 inches long with 54 ring gauge (Box Pressed)
Rotschild - 4.5 inches long with 48 ring gauge
Robusto - 5 inches long with 52 ring gauge
Churchill - 7 inches long with 49 ring gauge

The skilled artisans at General Cigar also produce famous premium brands like CAO, La Gloria Cubana, Macanudo, Punch, Excalibur, and many more.

What the Smoker can expect
1907 by Dunhill will be a valued addition to the Dunhill range, which up to now was dominated by mild and strong profiles. This cigar brings a welcome change by introducing middle strength. However, it sticks to the time-honored traditions of cigar making that has kept the Dunhill brand in the premium market. The cigar will deliver the things a smoker is passionate about, which includes classic sizing, reasonable pricing, and fuller taste profile. 1907 by Dunhill will deliver complex flavors that have spicy nuances and a finish that is creamy and rich.
Keeping with its tradition of elegant packaging, 1907 by Dunhill is also available in wooden boxes with a sliding lid that packages 18 cigars. The Toro Size of the 1907 by Dunhill is the first box pressed cigar in the entire portfolio of Dunhill since 1907. Many smokers who were awaiting some sort of resurgence of Dunhill cigars are quite excited with this new introduction.
