If you're using Boveda packs for the first time, the various percentage options might seem confusing. But don’t worry, it’s simple: For cigars, 69% to 72% humidity is ideal. If you prefer slightly drier tobacco or want to age cigars, 65% is also suitable. Other levels, such as 58% to 62%, are perfect for cannabis or dried herbs. And when it comes to delicate wooden musical instruments, you can count on Boveda too – even if that's more of a niche application.
Boveda Starter Kits
For beginners, a Boveda Starter Kit is recommended. Available for humidors holding up to 50 cigars or up to 100 cigars, they include 84% packets for preparation and 72% packets for ongoing use.
