Born in 1866 in Asturias, in the northwest of Spain, Alejandro Lopez was destined to make history from an early age. At the age of twenty, he took the bold step of crossing the Atlantic to Panama, where he discovered his passion for tobacco cultivation in the Chiriquí region. Driven by curiosity, he learned everything about the craft that would later define his life.
In 1910, Alejandro Lopez moved to the Dominican Republic, where, in the heart of Santiago de los Caballeros, he established his first cigar factory in the 1920s. By his mid-fifties, he had achieved his dream, running the factory until his death at the age of 82. His legacy lives on in cigars that continue to delight aficionados around the world!
