From Beginnings to Global Legend

Avo Uvezian, born in Lebanon in 1926, literally had music in his blood: his father was a conductor, and his mother was a trained singer. He developed extraordinary piano talent early on. As a teenager, he performed with the jazz trio "The Lebanon Boys," touring the Middle East. His journey later took him to the USA, where he pursued a music career after military service. But a chance discovery would change his life forever: his love for cigars.

How Passion Became a Legacy

After his marriage and a move to Puerto Rico, Avo opened a restaurant with a piano bar. There, he discovered that cigars were often more than just a pleasure for his guests – they told stories. Inspired by this, he began developing his own cigars. His collaboration with Hendrik Kelner, a master cigar maker, eventually led to Avo Cigars, known for their perfect craftsmanship and exceptional quality.

All Avo Cigars share one thing: they represent perfection and harmony. The tobaccos are predominantly sourced from the fertile Cibao Valley in the Dominican Republic. Each series tells its own story:
