Meanwhile, Nestor Plasencia hails from a long family tradition; his family left Cuba in the late 1950s and built a new cigar empire in Nicaragua.
The combined expertise of these two master blenders is the secret behind the success of Casa Magna cigars. Each cigar is crafted in Nestor Plasencia’s Segovia factory in Estelí, Nicaragua. The tobacco used grows on Nicaragua's fertile soils, enriched by volcanic ash and abundant in minerals—except for the Serie F, which uses Maduro wrappers from Honduras.
