Cornelius & Anthony Cigars – Modern Tradition
If there were an award for the trendiest cigar brand, Cornelius & Anthony would surely be among the favorites. The U.S.-based brand combines top-tier quality with a contemporary design, backed by over 150 years of experience in tobacco cultivation. We take pride in being the exclusive retailer of these cigars in Germany.
Although the brand was only founded in the 1990s, its roots go way back. As early as the early 19th century, tobacco was cultivated in Virginia. Since the 1860s, the Bailey family has been actively involved in the industry. The name Cornelius comes from the first known family member in the business.
Premium Longfiller Cigars by Cornelius & Anthony
The second namesake is Stephen Anthony Bailey, the current owner. He started with high-quality cigars using tobacco from his own cultivation, quickly conquering the U.S. market.
Today, the brand increasingly focuses on longfiller cigars from Latin America. Initially produced at the Tabacalera PDR by Abe Flores—where brands like Gurkha and Kristoff are also made—production has since moved to Tabacalera La Zona by Eddie Espinosa in Nicaragua.

The Meridian delivers a woody-spicy flavor with a creamy finish. Beneath its Ecuadorian wrapper lies a Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua.
The Daddy Mac, a blend created in honor of Stephen’s father, features a sweet note thanks to its Brazilian wrapper. The boldest series is the Venganza—which means "revenge" in Spanish. With a Nicaraguan filler and binder, combined with an Ecuadorian wrapper, it promises an intense smoking experience.
