You may have never heard the name Eiroa, but you might have already enjoyed one of this family's outstanding cigars. Christian Eiroa and his father, Julio, once revived Camacho – and with tremendous success. The brand became a global sensation.

Christian Eiroa’s Passion for Cigars

But none of that kept him from pursuing his true passion: crafting premium cigars. After a stint at Davidoff and a brief break, he returned with his own label, CLE – and eventually, cigars under his own name. The Eiroa family grows its own tobacco and processes it in their own factory, Tabacalera El Aladino in Honduras.

Their success did not go unnoticed – and eventually, Oettinger Davidoff stepped in. Since 2008, Camacho has been part of the Swiss company’s portfolio. The Eiroa family benefited enormously – reportedly with a mid-double-digit million sum. Christian Eiroa now enjoys life, but his deep passion for cigars remains unbroken.

It all began in the mid-2010s with the medium-bodied, aromatic Eiroa Classic. The CBT Maduro is crafted entirely from Maduro tobacco – in its filler, binder, and wrapper. An extraordinary concept that Eiroa had already explored in his first career…

However, The First 20 Years was not crafted by Christian, but by his father, Julio. He resurrected a wrapper leaf that had been forgotten for decades – creating a cigar with unparalleled depth and character.
