Montosa Cigars From the In House Factory
Arnold André’s home is Bünde, the heart of the German cigar world. But since the 2010s, the family-run company has also operated its own factory in the Dominican Republic. More precisely, in Santiago de los Caballeros, in the heart of the fertile Cibao Valley – a paradise for tobacco cultivation. That’s where the Montosa line is produced, at Arnold André La Dominicana.
With in-house production on-site, Arnold André can operate not only more flexibly and independently, but also test creative ideas right at the source. New concepts can thus quickly become series products in the shop.
Montosa: The Third In House Brand in the Lineup
After Buenavista and Carlos André, the Montosa Claro, launched in 2019, expands Hacico’s portfolio. Mild aromas meet complex depth here – the result of three years of fine-tuning by experienced master blenders.

Since 2020, the Montosa Maduro has also been available. It delivers a distinctly spicier note while remaining pleasantly smooth thanks to its Mexican Sumatra wrapper. A clear recommendation for fans of bold cigars.
